So who else is going? No more excuses - make it happen!

Probably time to start thinking about hotel reservations. Options are fairly limited and the good ones fill up fast.

This is where we stay http://www.escapetothemountains.com/Cow ... rLodge.htm

We plan on leaving around 4 am on the Friday and will get home sometime after midnight on Sunday. If anyone is planning on joining our procession then you only need Fri/Sat reservations.

Registration is now open http://www.scca.com/events/1981896-2016 ... ations/new

Registration is capped at 325, so lots of time to register. After July 4 the price goes up to $143 USD from $110 USD

You'll need a temporary SCCA weekend membership - they are available on site. You'll need $15 USD cash.

I'll write up a beginners guide to Packwood in the next couple days when I get bored....

Nothing new really. The place has been for sale for at least 10 years. They've dropped the price significantly this time, but it's a pretty unique property that really doesn't have a whole lot of interested parties. I know some of the Seattle people are a little more nervous this time, but time will tell I guess.

Edit. Auction starting now. This might actually be a problem as the reserves are really low. People in the know are speculating that it will sell. If you've ever contemplated going to Packwood then you better make this the year :(

I'm told that the Packwood location did not sell through the auction and it has not been listed in the June auction. Hopefully something can be worked out that it remains as a motorsports venue....

Is anyone doing pro solo at Packwood?
I'd be up for that. Not sure about the other.
Feel. Don't think.
