Hey everybody, I have 11 events booked in Vernon and 18 in Kelowna. We are also working on a few events in Kamloops if we can secure the location.

If the snow finally goes we should have a great year.

Keep checking the .com website for updates, registration form and schedules.

Plan is to sell the Porsche engine to pay for the build and the next couple of race seasons. Stay tuned...
just out of curiosity, how much are you gonna try to sell the Porsche motor for?

Also sounds great Bruce! I can't wait to get back out there!

I don't know yet. I may just hold onto it as an investment and as a hedge against my Bitcoin portfolio. :D

Staying tuned. We may try to make it out for a Vernon / larger event.
What ever happened to the Merritt truck stop? Drove by this past summer, it's a massive lot!

Craig! Back from the dead

Vernon is smaller than in the past. Hopefully they will accommodate some changes to the curbing - that would help greatly.

As far as I know Merritt was lost when the truck stop had a management change. The new manager had no interest in accommodating racing - I guess he figured it was too much of a hassle to get the truckers out on time. I think that might have been KCC that ran the events there - not sure if anyone has inquired in the last few years.

hah! Thanks B.

We have a car once again, and i'd like to try running the cones. So many fond memories of great days.
It's not going to be fast, it's a large enough car that I may as well run my pickup. This is why I was asking about Lot size.

The reason I was thinking of the truck stop:
-i'm still at the International dealer, see trucks think trucks.
-it was completely empty when we went by

I think you had your 510 in those days still, and Jim with the Civic. Zac still had his black Celica. However lot size was large enough for even the Vettes to stretch their legs.

I guess what i'm saying is, enough time has passed.... Wonder if it would be worth another shot?

For the Merritt truck stop we would need someone with connections to find the owner and talk to them. We would have to get it swept and be able to ensure the site is not accessible to the public.

I am looking at getting a different insurance provider this year and site security is an important part of getting a policy.
