"ESP didn't really change much"

I know. But everyone else is whining and I wanted to whine a little too. ESP PAX is always going up but the 2007 Audi RS4's aren't getting any faster making it harder to catch SM. However, as Brian points out, STS and CSP got hit harder so maybe they are a little easier to catch now. :)

"Hey Ron, if you can't beat them, buy it.
It's not a bad looking car either. "

Achtung! As an owner of an Audi and a Porsche I am officially not allowed to stoop to buying a new American MUSTANG! However, it would be cheaper (not counting replacement drive shafts and gear boxes) and "funner" (isn't that a word?) to go to SM with the Audi and that PAX didn't change. Also, I just put a 5 speed in the Porsche so I may see how that works in EM or whatever stratospheric PAX it might end up in. Hey Brian, what is the "official" word on the PAX for a caged and heavily modified Porsche 911 turbo? Keep in mind it is black and not red so that should drop the PAX down some I would think. Although it does shoot red fire out the exhaust sometimes to incinerate any pesky Miatas that get too close while I am waiting for the turbo to spool up coming out the corners.
Does refusing to go to the gym count as resistance training? :?

Well, I must be an inept one. Although I do wear a white Nomex hood with eye holes cut out, the only thing I burned last race was my car.

What's the PAX adjustment for this year, streets vs R's?

I haven't done the math yet, but my gut feeling is it will remain the same = .975

Or something very close to that anyway....

Cool.

I'm dusting off the Lethal Locost for another go, but on streets (shipping as we speak), instead of stickies. Not even R's down from slicks, I mean a "street tire" down from R's, down from Slicks.

Any chance I can have a double pax adjustment, since I will be two grip levels down from what D/MOD is normally paxed with (slicks)?

I don't think a double adjustment would be correct, but I would support the idea that Prepared and Modified get a larger adjustment. I'll do some math - seems like a legitimate proposal.....

OK - here's my proposal. Get your calculators out and see if you can find a flaw in the mathematics. Basically my intention is to give a greater street tire adjustment to the cars that usually run on slicks. The regular street tire pax will remain the same at .975 applied for classes that normally run R-Comps. The Prepared and Modified classes will go to the numbers below. Basically affects very few cars really, but will give Greg's 7 and Shawn's Blue Lightning and any other highly modified cars a fighting chance.

I know - nobody really cares

NOTE - THIS IS JUST A PROPOSAL AT THIS POINT - IT'S NOT OFFICIAL

Thank you for crunching all the numbers for this.

I'm intrigued to see if running streets is a bit more fun, vs. the load-the-car/arrive/change-tires/event/change-tires/home/unload-the-car.

The Sumitomos are gone. Mwuahahahahaha. Now replaced with some tiny Federals.
