Re: Thoughts on the new 200 treadwear rule?
Since our events are not on a national level, I see no problem in saving some people money. We will just have to make sure non-regular competitors are aware we are cheaters. Not cheating - there is something in the rules that allows local/regional events to set their own rules to encourage competit...

Thoughts on the new 200 treadwear rule?
So as of 2015 Street and Street Touring classes have to run a tire with a treadwear of 200 or higher. I see some clubs in the US are not enforcing that until 2016 for local events. Basically they are allowing people to run out the tires they already have. General consensus is that tires like the Toy...

US exchange is definitely not going to help tire buying. I'm so glad we are only going to need 2 sets of Hoosiers, a set of rains, and a set of mystery tires for the Civic. The Calgary forum is actually http://cscc.speedracer.ca/forums/
The one you quoted is SASC = Southern Alberta Solosports Club. Not much difference really - pretty much the same people running in the same venues.

2015 Canadian Nationals
Aug 21-23 2015 at Fort Macleod Alberta (unofficially)
It's a very grippy runway style layout. Very fast and fun. We have several class winners over the last few years and 2 overall Canadian champions in the last 10 years. Come continue the Okanagan quest for world domination
