Kelowna Race Information
You must be an OBCC member which is $30 for the year. Each event costs $15 per driver or buy a punch card to bring your costs down to as low as $10 per event. You can have a maximum of 3 drivers per vehicle. All drivers must work the course in shifts while not racing. For vehicles with more than one driver we will try to space your runs as far apart as possible, but safety and operational goals take precedent over multiple driver vehicles. We reserve the right to limit the number of entries.

There may not be any races at OC so stay tuned.

Any news from the college?

My unofficial understanding from the meeting.....

OUC - KLO

They are short of parking and are not willing to commit to having the lot cleared for us. Bruce was going to inquire about different days or times etc. They seem to be ghosting him on recent inquiries.

UBCO

We might have access to a small - as in smaller than KLO - lot, but again the contact has not gotten back to Bruce.

Vernon

Bruce was going to inquire about maybe doing one night every two weeks or something like that. (Sundays are still good)

I have agreement from the College to use the lot Friday nights. I am pushing to use Thursdays in July and August, so here is the proposed schedule.

I imagine I will be available if there is enough interest in having an event that night. Maybe just make it a practice event - as in it doesn't count for the season points.
