NHRA Drag racing in Vegas

2.3 on the Richter scale.
It is a brain numbing sound, if you can even call it that. The word "sound" can't begin to describe it as your entire body is pummelled by the pressure waves leaving your ears to feel like innocent bystanders.
I stood by the fence about 100ft from the starting line and 30ft from the track when two 10,000 hp top fuel dragsters flashed by.
No bs; I literally stumbled back as the sound waves shocked my inner core beyond any expectation.
0 to 320+ mph in under 4 seconds!
Words can't describe it. TV can't give you the whole picture. You have to be there and once you've felt it you have to have more.
